Stunning mid century interior oil painting with figure by listed Dutch artist Wil van Leeuwen. Atmospheric oil painting of an interior of a seated woman holding a flower in front of a an open window. Excellent paint handling, color usage and composition in this stylish oil of a seated woman holding a flower. I've framed this piece in a deep set box frame. Very striking in person. My photography doesn't do this piece justice! these mid century paintings are getting harder to come by.

Artist: Wil van Leeuwen (Netherlands 1909-1994) Van Leeuwen was known as a member of ‘De Brug’, an Amsterdam-based collaboration of painters.
