Striking mid century original abstract oil painting from Sweden by listed artist Tore Hultcrantz titled "The Gates of Autumn" (the most poetic title of all paintings I've sold!). Semi-abstract composition with confident expressive paint application that draws the viewer into the painting and through the window opening to the landscape beyond. Excellent composition, design and color usage. A classic mid century painting. Striking in person.
