Wonderful summer landscape from Sweden dated 1949 by listed artist, Elvin Larsson. Lovely use of color, composition and expressive, confident paint handling in this striking summer painting. Great depth that draws the eye to the mountains in the background. Stunning in person- my photography does not do this piece justice! 

Artist: Elvin Larsson (1913-1995) Studied in Paris with Marcel Gromaire 1939 and separately with self directed painting trips in Norway and Finland.
