Striking mid century oil painting from Sweden by Christian Voulethe listed artist from Sweden titled "Atelier Interior". I love paintings of artist's studios and a glimpse into their worlds and this one is no exception! Harmonious color, confident brushwork and an excellent composition. This painting has the "it" factor and is stunning in person. These mid century pieces are getting harder and harder to find. 

Artist: Christian Voulethe (1926-1989) Studied with Otte Sköld 1945-1947 and at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm 1947-1952.  Represented in public collections in Sweden.
