Fantastic mid century landscape oil painting by listed artist Fabian Lundqvist (1913-1989) from Sweden from 1953. Excellent composition and expressive brushwork in tonal greens. On stretched linen with original frame. Signed and dated lower right. Fabian Lundqvist studied in Sweden at Skånska Painting Academy and was a student of Jean Fautrier and Andre Lahote in Paris. Represented in many public collections in Sweden. Stunning painting in person.
