Vintage Art Room Mid Century Original Oil Painting from Sweden 1954

Vintage Oil Painting dated 1954 by Sven Olof Rosén, listed artist, from Sweden. An abstract and expressive coastal landscape rendered with beautiful, loose gestural brushwork. Excellent sense of movement with layered textures that add depth. My photography does not do this painting justice!

Artist:  Sven Olof Rosén (1908-1982) Listed artist. Represented in many museum collections including Moderna Museet (Modern Art Museum), Stockholm, National Museum, Stockholm, The collection of Prins Eugen Waldemarsudde, Institute Tessin, Paris and many other public collections.
