Vintage Art Room Coastal Painting from Sweden

Original vintage coastal oil painting by Ellis Wallin (1888-1972), listed artist, Sweden dated 1946 titled "Water and Cliffs". Lovely coastal scene expertly rendered in warmer and cooler tones with beautiful expressive brushwork. The artist has achieved a nice atmosphere and depth in this piece. An arresting painting by an excellent artist. It has been a few years since I had a painting by this artist in my gallery and I'm very happy to finally have another on offer.

Artist: Ellis Wallin (1888-1972)  Wallin is represented in many museum collections including Nationalmuseum and Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Ateneum in Helsingfors, Malmö Museum, Kalmar läns Museum and Göteborg's Art Museum.
