Mid Century Oil Painting by listed artist, Paul Petersén, Sweden, in original frame dated 1965. Bold, confident brushwork and an excellent color palette make up this striking mid century oil painting. A pleasing composition that leads the eye into the scene and back to the turquoise sea. So striking-this is such a beautiful painting. Unfortunately my poor photography skills do not show this piece to its full advantage-!! Stunning in person. 

Artist: Paul Petersén (1900-1967) Petersén studied painting in Gothenburg from 1929 to 1932, then with Otte Sköld and with Isaak Grünewald in Stockholm and in Paris with Othon Friesz. Represented in the collection of Vänersmuseet, Sweden.
