Amazing mid century oil painting from Sweden by listed artist Gunnar Jonn (1904-1963) Sweden titled "Sommar Evening" dated 1956. Striking oil of a dance hall on a summer evening with expressive brushwork using impasto technique and excellent color harmony with flowing lines that leads the eye around the canvas. A very beautiful and exceptional painting this painting has a inner glow. A stunning painting by an exceptional artist.

Artist: Gunnar Jonn (1904-1963) Jonn studied at Skånska Målarskolan in Sweden and in Copenhagen. His paintings are in several museum collections in Sweden including Moderna Muséet in Stockholm and Malmö Museum.
