Stunning vintage mid century large landscape oil painting by listed Danish artist, Kai Christensen, (b1918). Superb brush work and color usage depicting village houses at dusk. A very striking painting in a tonal color scale that is almost abstract in composition. The addition of the yellow ochre color adds a nice color and is really accentuated by the cooler tones. Artist studied in Paris with Monsieur Garbid and in Sweden with Bertil Bernsten and Olle Vallengren. Oil on linen canvas in original silver frame which shows wear.
