Published in the book "Sweden's Edible and Poisonous Mushrooms" under the direction of renowned Swedish mycologist Elias Magnus Fries and printed by A. J. Salmson, Stockholm. Depicting a scientifically accurate study of fungi, these elegant plates combine natural history, botanical illustration, and Scandinavian scientific heritage. Species shown are:
- Clavaria flava Fr. (now generally known as Ramaria flava)
- Boletus vaccinus Fr.
- Marasmius scorodonius Fr.
- Boletus impolitus Fr., first described by Fries in 1838.
