Large Original Vintage, Fine Art oil painting from Sweden signed C Berndtsson of a view over a traditional fishing village with a glimpse of the sea in the background. Beautiful tonal blues ranging from aqua to grey with punches of warmer color that livens up the canvas in this coastal scene. Excellent composition and confident brushwork applied in thick impasto. A lovely painting bya talented artist. 

Artist: Carl Berndtsson, listed artist (1902-1983) studied at the Royal Art Academy in Stockholm and worked both in Europe and Scandinavia.
