Fabulous original vintage oil painting by popular and listed Swedish artist Bengt Hillgrund dated 1960. Beautiful color and great composition in this lovely oil of a village street scene. I love the dramatic sky that draws the viewer deep into the scene. The artist really knew how to mix color and the color harmony is just beautiful. As always in Hillgrund's paintings the paint is laid down in confident brushstrokes. Must see in person- a lovely painting by a highly collectible artist.
