Vintage Oil Painting of a church interior on Ibiza by Listed Artist Gunnar S Malm (1909-1986) from Sweden. Very beautifully depicted interior with skillfully rendered light and shadow. Clear bright colors pop against the neutral background filling the painting with a beautiful luminosity. Gunnar Johan Sigfrid Malm studied at Skånska Målarskolan in the 1920´s. Travelled extensively in Europe and northern Africa . Participated in many exhibitions (ex: Stockholm 1935, Helsingborg 1945, Malmö 1954, Lund 1957). Signed lower left. Oil on panel. Frame shows wear.
