Mid Century original oil painting by listed artist, Carsten Ström (1913-1995)  in original frame dated 1946. Lovely mid century oil of a abandoned boat by the shore  rendered with expressive brushwork and line. Beautiful use of color. This painting is quite colorful upclose and the colors vibrate off of each other. Excellent use of perspective which create a nice depth. This is a fantastic painting in person.  Carsten Ström was a popular children's books author, graphic artist, ceramicist and artist.
