Mid century vintage landscape from Sweden by very popular listed artist Fabian Lundqvist dated 1960. This pastel painting has a beautiful luminosity, excellent color harmony and a strong composition that leads the viewer's eye deep into the scene. The artist really shows off his understanding of line and composition in this fantastic piece. Very striking in person.

Artist: Fabian Lundqvist (1913-1989)  Artist studied in Sweden at Skånska Painting Academy and was a student of Jean Fautrier and Andre Lahote in Paris. Represented in many public collections in Sweden.
