Beautiful framed floral still life oil painting from Sweden by listed artist Nisse Zetterberg dated 1962 titled “Still Life with Dog Violets”. Atmospheric and stunning still life of violets in a water glass on a table. Sensitive paint handling with a simple but striking composition. This jewel of a painting by a very successful and collectible artist glows and it speaks for itself. One of the best still lifes I've sold. Gorgeous. I'll probably regret letting this one go.

Artist: Nisse Zetterberg (1910-1986) Listed artist from Sweden. Recipient of many awards for his painting. Represented in many museum collections including Moderna Museet, Nationalmuseum, Nordiska museet, Stockholm, Kalmar konstmuseum, and Gustav Adolf VI collection.
