Striking original vintage oil painting by popular and listed Swedish artist Bengt Hillgrund (1935-1981). Two fishermen working in their boat set against a harbor background. Bold brushstrokes and a dominate color palette of various blues accented by warmer hues add depth and balance. The painting exudes a quiet atmosphere and captures the rhythm of the fishermen at work. An excellent painting by a popular and very collectible artist.
