Super striking mid century oil painting by listed art Gustav-Adolf Johansson. Johansson studied in Stockholm and at Académie Julian, Paris. Gorgeous oil in flat blocks of color rendered in harmonious tones with superb brush work and an excellent composition. I love the splash of warm color the chimney adds to the composition. Smaller in size but this painting draws in the viewer. Lovely in person!
