Lovely Mid century Oil Painting from Sweden by listed artist Göran Brunius from Sweden titled "Coast". Clear bright colors in this lovely coastal scene with sweeping expressive brushwork in a charming naive style. Great use of color and line. I really like the naivety and charm of this painting. Very striking in person.

Artist: Göran Brunius (1911-2005)  studied with Otte Sköld, Stockholm and at The Royal Art Academy in Stockholm. Represented in the collections of Moderna Museet, Stockholm and The National Museum, Stockholm and Tessin Institute in Paris.
