Lovely mid century abstract oil painting from Sweden by Ragnar Godin dated 1961. Striking expressionist abstract painting in vibrant color with excellent brushwork with some areas of impasto. An interesting composition and lively composition. Striking in person.

Artist:  Ragnar Godin Godin studied with Tor Bjurström and Sigfrid Villman at Valand's Art School 1934-35 then in Paris with Marcel Gromaire in 1936. Godin is represented in public collections in Sweden.
