Mid Century Original Portrait Oil Painting L Reis From Sweden

Stunning vintage Mid Century figure painting in oil from Sweden by listed artist Leo Reis (1926-2001). Reis is represented in, among other collections, Malmö Museum and Ystads Art Museum. Stunning figure painting in typical mid century colors with thickly applied colors with superb use of cools and warms in the flesh tones. I'm guessing this was painted directly from the model maybe even during his student days circa 1940/50's. I'm really tempted to keep this one myself.
