Mid Century Original Floral Still Life Oil Painting from Sweden

Amazingly beautiful floral oil painting from Sweden by listed artist Curt Rydell dated 1959. Very colorful and vibrant still life painting of a summer flower bouquet in a coffepot rendered in cheerful color in thicker impasto. I love the way the artist handled the paint and color. No hesitation in the paint application. Lovely in person.

Artist: Curt Rydell (1901-1967) Studied with Carl Wilhelmson’s  in Stockholm from 1919-20, at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München from 1920-22, Académie Colarossi, Académie de la Grande Chaumière and Académie Ranson in Paris in 1928 & 1930.
