Stunning Mid Century Original Oil Painting by Tage Nilsson (1926-1997) Sweden. Nilsson studied with Isaac Grunewald, Stockholm and in Paris with André L'Hote and Othon Friesz and was awarded the Stockholm Culture Stipendium for his art in 1961. Excellent brushwork and superb color usage make up this atmospheric landscape in harmonious color applied in blocks of color. Great composition with depth in the scene. Lovely in person.
