Vintage Art Mid Century Oil Painting Coastal Scene by listed artist  Eskil Skans (1905-1989) Sweden. Skilfully rendered winter harbor scene with excellent paint application and brushwork. Nice composition that leads the eye around back and forth from the foreground to the background. Eskil Skans is a listed Swedish artist and represented in Kristianstad's Museum. Beautiful in person.

Artist: Eskil Skans (1905-1989) He studied at the Technical School in Malmö 1923–1927 and privately with artist, Anders Olson, 1940–1941 and during study trips to Paris, Southern France and Italy. Represented Kristianstad's Museum.
