Mid Century Art Coastal Oil Painting from Sweden 1947

Mid Century oil painting by listed artist Stig Kjellin from Sweden. Striking mid century coastal painting dated 1947. Excellent use of design and color with great depth and atmosphere. My photography does not do this piece justice. Lovely in person.

Artist: Stig Kjellin (1914-1979) Kjellin trained at Tekniska Skolan in Stockholm 1934- 1936 and took self directed overseas trips to study art in Switzerland and Spain. Represented in public collections in Sweden.
