Vintage, mid century, oil painting by listed Swedish artist Lars Norrman (1915-1979) in original gold frame. Very colorful and confidently painted oil of boats in strong colors that makes a very striking image. All of the shapes are simplified into blocks of color that vibrate against each other. Very striking in person.  Must see in person! 

Artist: Lars Norrman (1915-1979) 

Norrman studied at the atelier of Otto Sköld and in Paris under the highly esteemed artist Fernand Léger. Norrman is represented in several museum collections in Sweden and abroad including National Museum, Stockholm and The Swedish institute, Paris.
