Excellent color usage in a harmonious color palette with a simple but striking composition. Very expressive brushwork in this lovely seascape by a very popular artist.  A beautiful glow to this jewel of a painting. Gorgeous in person! 

Gustav Arne (1925-2011) studied with Isaac Grünewald in Stockholm and in Paris. Represented in many museum collections including Moderna Museet, Stockholm, Malmö konstmuseum.
