Absolutely Stunning Original Mid Century Still Life oil painting by listed artist Hans Larsson (1910-1973) from Sweden dated 1956. Larsson's work is represented Naturhistoriska Museum, Nationalmuseum, Moderna Museum, Malmö Museum, Helsingborg's Museum, Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen, Denmark, The Cincinnati Art Museum and Tel Aviv Museum. Expressive brushwork in amazingly thick impasto and superb color usage make up this very stylized mid century still life painting featuring fruit on a table with a guitar. The artist really knew how to use color and composition. Absolutely gorgeous in person - a classic mid century painting. I'm so happy to offer such an amazing piece by this excellent artist! There is a sterling silver dedication plaque mounted on the lower middle of the frame.
