Vintage Portrait by listed artist Sven Östberg from Sweden dated 1933. Masterfully rendered portrait painting of a woman in heavy impasto with lovely color usage and drawing. I have a feeling that this could be a portrait of the artist's mother. Very charming in person!

Artist: Sven Östberg (1908-1987) Studied with Otte Sköld in Stockholma and in Paris with Marcel Gromaire and Othon Friesz at Académie Scandinave.
